Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 July 2026 · Effective from: 1 July 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of neuralmindlab.pro and the vocational training services offered by NeuralMindLab Inc., a corporation registered in Quebec, Canada (BN 836947281QC0001), with principal offices at 421 Notre-Dame Street East, Suite 508, Sherbrooke, QC J1G 2K8. By accessing our website or enrolling in programmes, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services described

NeuralMindLab provides structured vocational training in artificial neural networks, deep learning, PyTorch engineering, computer vision, natural language processing, and generative AI foundations. Services include live online cohorts, hybrid Sherbrooke bench sessions, self-paced lab access, corporate upskilling workshops, advisory sessions, and alumni office hours. We are a registered training provider — not an AI consulting agency, web design studio, marketing agency, SaaS vendor, or IT outsourcing firm.

2. Educational disclaimer

NeuralMindLab delivers vocational training in artificial neural networks and deep learning. Completion certificates reflect course participation and milestone achievement — not university degrees, professional licensure, regulated professional designations, or guaranteed employment. Learning outcomes depend on prerequisites met, practice time, individual aptitude, and market conditions. When we reference "neural," we mean computational models in machine learning — not neuroscience therapy, brain training, cognitive wellness, or clinical neurology programmes. Course exercises may use AI-assisted tools; all outputs require human verification. We do not guarantee machine learning jobs, salary increases, or third-party credential recognition.

3. Eligibility and prerequisites

Programmes are intended for adult learners aged sixteen and older. Prerequisites such as Python fundamentals and basic linear algebra are stated on programme pages and must be met before enrolment unless waived in writing by NeuralMindLab. Misrepresentation of qualifications may result in removal from a cohort without refund.

4. Enrolment and payment

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of payment and acceptance of programme-specific terms. Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (C$) unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed through third-party providers subject to their terms. NeuralMindLab reserves the right to modify pricing for future cohorts. Taxes applicable in Quebec and Canada may apply.

5. Refund policy

Refund terms are specified in your enrolment agreement. Generally, full refunds are available within fourteen days of purchase if no live cohort sessions have commenced. After sessions begin, partial refunds may be available on a pro-rata basis at NeuralMindLab's discretion. Corporate workshop contracts include separate cancellation terms. Contact [email protected] for refund requests.

6. Intellectual property

All course materials, lab notebooks, syllabi, videos, assessments, and website content are owned by NeuralMindLab Inc. or licensed to us. Enrolled learners receive a limited, non-transferable licence to access materials for personal educational use during the programme period. Redistribution, resale, recording of live sessions without permission, or commercial exploitation of materials is prohibited.

7. Learner conduct

Learners must behave respectfully in cohort sessions, discussion forums, and campus bench sessions. Harassment, plagiarism, sharing assessment answers, attempting to compromise lab systems, or misusing AI tools to submit work without disclosure may result in removal without refund. NeuralMindLab may report serious misconduct to relevant authorities where required.

8. Website use

You may use neuralmindlab.pro for lawful purposes related to learning about and enrolling in our programmes. You may not: scrape content at scale; attempt unauthorised access to systems; introduce malware; impersonate NeuralMindLab staff; or use the site to promote unrelated commercial services including AI consulting, web design, or marketing offerings.

9. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and PIPEDA. Contact forms require explicit consent via checkbox — never pre-checked.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Website content and course materials are provided "as is" for educational purposes. NeuralMindLab makes reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but does not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free materials, or specific learning outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by Quebec and Canadian law, NeuralMindLab shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of our website or programmes. Our total liability shall not exceed fees paid for the specific programme giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify NeuralMindLab against claims arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of materials, or infringement of third-party rights through your submitted work or conduct.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and applicable federal laws of Canada. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Sherbrooke, Quebec, except where consumer protection legislation grants jurisdiction elsewhere. Quebec consumers retain rights under the Consumer Protection Act that cannot be waived by contract.

13. Modifications

NeuralMindLab may update these Terms by posting revised versions with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes to enrolled learners will be communicated directly where practicable.

14. Force majeure

NeuralMindLab is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemic restrictions, internet outages, or government orders affecting in-person bench sessions. We will endeavour to reschedule affected cohort sessions or provide alternative online delivery where feasible.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions continue in full force. The unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving the parties' intent.

16. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with programme-specific enrolment agreements and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NeuralMindLab regarding website use and general programme conditions. Enrolment agreements prevail for programme-specific terms including pricing, schedules, and refund conditions where they differ from these general Terms.

17. Language

These Terms are provided in English. In the event of discrepancy between English and French versions, the English version governs unless Quebec consumer protection law requires otherwise for Quebec residents.

18. Programme-specific schedules

Cohort schedules, session times, and campus bench dates are communicated at enrolment and may be adjusted for holidays, instructor availability, or unforeseen circumstances. NeuralMindLab will provide reasonable notice of material schedule changes and offer alternatives where possible for hybrid learners attending Sherbrooke sessions.

19. Accessibility

We endeavour to make our website and learning materials accessible to learners with disabilities. Contact [email protected] to discuss accommodation needs before enrolment so we can assess reasonable adjustments for your chosen delivery format.

20. Recording policy

Live cohort sessions may be recorded for enrolled learners who miss a bench session, subject to instructor notice. Recordings are distributed only to active cohort members and are not published publicly. Learners who object to appearing in recordings should notify the instructor before session start.

21. Assignment of rights

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without NeuralMindLab's written consent. NeuralMindLab may assign its rights in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets affecting the training business, with notice to active enrolled learners where required by law. Any permitted assignee assumes obligations consistent with these Terms and applicable Quebec consumer protection requirements.
